Hazel Inez Davis

Mrs. Hazel Inez Davis, age 68, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Davis was born in Quitman, Georgia to the late George Samples and Margaret Bearden Samples. She was a homemaker and a member of Philippi Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by brother, George E. Samples, Jr. Survivors include husband, Glad Davis, Dahlonega; daughter and son in law, Tammy and Larry Dyer, Cleveland; son, Floyd Swain Jr, Cleveland; grandchildren, Terry Heddings and Chris Rogers, Kyle Swain, Alex and Crissy Dyer, Natasha and Jose Nunez; and great-grandchildren, Harley Gravitt, Luke Gravitt, Xander Dyer, Ravyn Dyer, Nathaniel Rogers, Luke Rogers, Garrett Smith, Natalia Nunez and Selena Nunez; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Bill Tanner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am Saturday, February 13, from Barrett Chapel. The Rev. Alan Passmore, Rev. Lyman Caldwell, and Rev. Jason Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow in Sissy Sanctuary. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday and 1-8pm on Friday at the funeral home.
