Hazel Ledford

Mrs. Mary “Hazel” Barnes Ledford, age 88 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.   Mrs. Ledford was born in Habersham County, on February 25, 1930. She was the daughter of the late William Travis Barnes and Della Tomlin Barnes. Hazel retired from the Corneila Broom Company and she resided most of her life in Cleveland, Georgia.   Mrs. Ledford is survived by her husband of 64 years, Mr. Eugene Ledford, Cleveland; daughter, Wanda Payne, Clermont; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Diane Ledford, Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Stanley and Connie Oliver, Clermont; brother, Mr. Faye Barnes; sister, Mrs. Tiny Stowe; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.   Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Heffner will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M.
