Helen Crawford

Mrs. Helen Crawford, age 92, of Sautee, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021. Mrs. Crawford was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Harry Lawrence and Helen Madglett Doxzen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Crawford; son, Harry EW Miller; sister, Ann Mitchell; brothers, George Doxzen, Lawrence Doxzen, Donald Doxzen, and William Doxzen. She was a cashier most of her life and of the Episcopalian faith. Mrs. Crawford did volunteer work throughout her life: for DDS in Maryland, worked at The Village in Florida, helping the elderly, and assisted with the Department of the Blind in Kentucky. Survivors include daughter, Helen Miller, Sautee; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Catherine and James Strickland, Archer, FL; grandchildren, Michael Strickland, James Strickland, Marybeth Strickland, Alyssa Strickland, Cassie Strickland, and Austin Strickland; great-grandchildren, Jacob, John, Catherine, Everett, Casey, Tyler, Justin, and Shelby; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
