Helen Dammann

Helen Marie Dammann, age 88 of Oklahoma, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017.   Mrs. Dammann was born on March 28, 1929 to the late William W. and Laura T. Bishop Wheeler. Before retirement, she worked as a documentation specialist for Coulter Electronics. Helen was active with the American Legion Auxiliary and the Gideon’s Auxiliary. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Mrs. Dammann was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Dammann; children, Earl Dammann, Jr. and Paul Dammann; brother, Billy Wheeler.   Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Phil Thirion, Owasso, OK; daughters-in-law, Jackie Dammann and Cathlene Dammann, both of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Machel Dammann, Melony Dammann, Crystal Thirion, Phillip Thirion, Loura Dammann, and Holly Dammann; great-grandchildren, Colton Thirion, Cooper Thirion, Jordon Gonzalez, Angelic Gonzalez, and Aiden.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mike Borchert will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.   The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M.
