Helen H. Jenkins

Mrs. Helen Haywood Jenkins, age 96, of Gainesville, passed away Monday, December 1, 2008 at a private health care center following an extended illness. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Jenkins, daughter, Mary Sue Mull and son, Alfonzo Jenkins. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Survivors include: sons and daughters in law: Rev. J.D and Hazel Jenkins, Gainesville; Rev. Billy Joe and Betty Jenkins, Sautee; and grandchildren: Melvin Allen, Timmy Joe Jenkins, Patricia Allen, David Jenkins, Sandra Jenkins, Elder Billy Joe Jenkins, Jr. and James Leonard Jenkins. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 6, 2008 from the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with Dr. Marcus Earl Dixon officiating. Internment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery.
