Henry Grady Freeman

Henry Grady Freeman, age 82 of Cleveland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 20, 2019.   Mr. Freeman was born July 21, 1937 in Cleveland, GA to the late Carl Freeman and Willie Jane Alexander Freeman. Henry was a faithful member of Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church, where he served as a Deacon and campground committee member. Henry was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Nell Baker, Gene Fleming and Pat Gurley.   Survivors in his wife of 59 years, Susie Freeman, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Amy Freeman, Cleveland; grandsons, Marc Bigbie, Ollie Freeman, Alex Freeman; sisters, Frances Deavers, Gainesville; Bobbie Gibbs, Gainesville; Eleanor Roberson, Gainesville;  Ann Teems, Cleveland; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, December 23, 2019 at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church, 1497 Holiness Campground Rd. Cleveland, GA 30528. The Rev. Paul Flynn, the Rev. J.D. Sosebee, the Rev. Mike Spence and Mr. Doug Freeman will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Freeman Family Cemetery.   Due to impending inclement weather committal services will be held inside the church.   The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Monday at Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church prior to the funeral service.   The family respectfully asks that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church, 32 Pilgrim Rd.
