Herbert Alexander

Herbert Lee Alexander, age 78 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday May 28, 2020. Mr. Alexander was born on March 31, 1942, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late Coy and Thelma Goss Alexander. Herbert previously worked as a sergeant for the sheriff’s department in White and Lumpkin County. He was also the owner of County Line Body Shop. Herbert was a member of County Line Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. In addition to his parents, Herbert was preceded in death by his wife, Annetta Alexander; daughter, Trina Alexander; brother, Homer Alexander. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Randy Sosebee, Cleveland; daughter, Sharon Alexander and Pam Grindle, Cleveland; grandchildren, Stacia Davis, Kiley Sosebee, Kyle and Heather Grindle, Casey and Megan Grindle, Brett and Amanda Butler; great grandchildren, Kaley and Josh Burton, Ella-Kate Butler, Kollyns Butler.
