Herbert Mcdonald Winfrey

Herbert McDonald Winfrey, age 81 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.   Mr. Winfrey was born January 30, 1933 in Smyrna, GA to the late Herbert Howard Winfrey and Ruth Adell Brumbelow Winfrey. He was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Winfrey was parts manager for John Deere and was preceded in death by his brother Eugene Brumeblow and brother-in-law John Iatesta.   Survivors include his wife, Emma Lou Winfrey, Cleveland; sons, Greg Winfrey, Blairsville; David Winfrey, Cleveland; sister, Rebecca Iatesta, Hartwell; brother and sister-in-law, James and Estelle Winfrey, Fairmount.   Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, April 28, 2014 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Joe Vernon and the Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.
