Hilda Fain

Hilda Viola Fain, age 81, of Helen, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Mrs. Fain was born on January 23, 1944, in Lumpkin County, to the late Arch C. Seabolt and Julia Ann Wilkins Seabolt. She worked in manufacturing and later in life cooked for The Corner Grill. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Fain; and son, Cliff Fain, Jr. Survivors include her children, Earl and Phyllis Fain, Jeff and Deborah Fain, Loretta Fain, and Julie and Robbie Brittain; daughter-in-law, Lynn Fain; sister, Callie Copelan; sisters-in-law, Margie Brown (Marvin) and Edith Pettit (John); 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 9, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and the Rev. Wayne Turk will officiate. Interment will follow in Lawrence Cemetery with the Rev. Spencer Anderson officiating.
