Horace Rogers

Horace Denver Rogers, age 74 of Cleveland, passed away on March 26, 2019.   Mr. Rogers was born on June 10, 1944, in White County, to the late Harvey Washington and Ethel Leora Tilley Rogers. He was a retired carpenter and served with honor in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Horace was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Rogers; mother of his children, Gail Biddy Rogers.   Survivors include his daughters, Karen Mewborn, Knoxville, TN and Sandra Rogers, Dahlonega, GA; sons, Weston Rogers (Alicia Duncan), Cleveland, GA and Bobby Lee Rogers (Cassie), Eldred, PA; brother, Hayward Rogers, Cleveland, GA; grandchildren, Noelle Miranda Rogers, and Autumn Rogers.   Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Garvis Kinsey will officiate.  Interment will follow at Macedonia United Methodist Church.   The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. – 8:00 P.M.
