TO WATCH MRS. UNDERWOOD'S SERVICE, CLICK HERE Ima Jean Underwood age 85 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Gateway Nursing Home. Mrs. Underwood was born October, 15th 1934 to the late William Westmoreland and Lillie Mae Nix. Mrs. Underwood’s happiest times were taking care of her patients at Friendship Nursing Home and working in the mission field. She was preceded in death by a daughter Betty McConnell and brother Charles Westmoreland. Survivors include her daughters; Elaine Mize, and Judy Howell, daughters and sons-in-law; Bobbie (James) Keith and Elizabeth (Scott) Goodman, brothers; William Westmoreland and Johnny Westmoreland, sisters; Patricia Butler and Darlene Spencer, as well as 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 10, 2020 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral. The Rev. Milton Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
