Imogene Wilson

Imogene Grindle Wilson, age 84, of Dahlonega, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Mrs. Wilson was born on May 29, 1936, in Dahlonega, Georgia, to the late Lewis and Pauline Edge Grindle. She was a convenience store owner and a member of Philippi Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Wilson; and brothers, L.Y. Grindle and Eugene Grindle. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Joseph Ash, Aurora, MO; grandchildren, Anya Aulbach (Joseph), Rosanna Logan (Jonathan), Joshua Bravestone (Markie), Jared Ash (Hannah), and Jarvis Ash; great-grandchildren, Jacob Ash, Savanna Logan, Levi Logan, Liam Logan, Chloe Logan, Pacey Bravestone, Jayden Ash, and Judson Ash; sister, Estelle Whitley; and brother, Robert Grindle. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 22, 2021 at Philippi Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the funeral home. Mrs. Wilson will lie in state from 1:30-2:00 P.M.
