Inger Eleonora Fjallstrom

Inger Eleonora Fjallstrom, age 77, of Sautee, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Mrs. Fjallstrom was born on July 24, 1947, in Pitea, Sweden, to the late Per Olof and Karin Ahs Berglund. She was a homemaker. She married her high school sweetheart, Roland Fjallstrom, in 1970. They traveled extensively all over Europe before life eventually brought them to Georgia, with a stop first in Canada. Once settled in Georgia, Inger dedicated herself to her family. Her children remember all of the wonderful family vacations they took all over the US and to Sweden. She was always a welcoming home for all of her children's friends; no one was ever a stranger in her house. We all remember the giant breakfast spreads she would make on the weekend for all the kids that had spent the night. She spent endless hours playing with and doing projects with her kids. She will be remembered for her kindness and as the best mother and wife in the world. Survivors include her husband, Roland Fjallstrom; daughter and son-in-law, Malin Fjallstrom-Hosack (Zac); son, Peter Fjallstrom; grandchildren, Connall Fjallstrom-Hosack and Colson Fjallstrom-Rich; sister, Anita Keuter. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, either to Inger's favorite charities: St. Jude Children's Hospital and Wounded Warriors, or to the charity of your choice.
