Jack Benson Gilstrap, Jr.

Jack Benson Gilstrap, Jr., age 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Mr. Gilstrap was born on October 27, 1950, in Hall County, to the late Jack Gilstrap, Sr. and Mary Stringer Gilstrap. He was a retired deputy sheriff for Hall County and a veteran of the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Savage. Survivors include his wife, Janie Coker Gilstrap, Cleveland; daughter, Julie Renae Dishman, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Buffy and Robbie Barrett, Cumming; grandchildren, Ashley Dishman, Alicia Gardner, Sydney Gilleland, and Taylor Barrett; siblings, Margie Holbrook, Don Gilstrap, Beverly Pruitt, and Debbie Pruitt.
