Jack T. Satterfield

Jack T. Satterfield, age 80 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Satterfield was born May 27, 1933 in White County to the late Frank B. and Lillian O’Kelly Satterfield. He was the Owner of Satterfield Hauling Trucking Company, was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church and the American Legion. Jack was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Satterfield and son Ted Satterfield. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lili Ann and Travis Maddox, Sautee; grandchildren, Tommy A. Maddox, Cleveland; Tara Maddox, Cleveland; brother, Jerry Satterfield Cleveland; sister, Betty Doughty, Lawrenceville; great grandchildren, Seth Allen Maddox, Jakob Langly, Shyanne Langly, all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:30 A.M. Friday, November 22, 2013 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Milton Harris and the Rev. Matt Pruitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
