Jack Nichols Sutton

Mr. Jack Sutton, age 78, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 05, 2012 at Northeast GA Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Sutton was born on October 10, 1933 to the late Emory C. and Annie Bell West Sutton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Pearl Nix and brothers Ernest Sutton and Claude Sutton. Mr. Sutton was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Janice Turner Sutton, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Lynn Sutton and Ralph Terrell, Buford; step-daughters and sons in law, Deana and David Jones, Dahlonega; Maury and Jack Hester, Cleveland; Deidre and Jimmie Taggart, Cleveland; sister and brother in law, Mary and Rev. Leon Carter, Cleveland; special nephew, Jimmy Underwood, Cleveland; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from Barrett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ronnie Dockery and The Rev. Jack Pilcher will officiate. Internment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 1712 Duffy Grizzle Rd.
