Jake Chambers

Jake Allen Chambers, age 36 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. Mr. Chambers was born on September 30, 1983, in Fairview, Ohio, to Lee Chambers and the late Virginia “Jenny” Chambers. He was a self-employed construction worker and a member of Soul’s Harvest Baptist Church. Jake was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Chambers; grandmother, Odell Whitley; brother-in-law, John Gunter; sister-in-law, Salina Gunter Smith. Survivors include his wife, Felicia Chambers; sons, Payton Chambers, Ashton Chambers, and Johnny Chambers; son, Elijah Chambers and his mother, Elizabeth Tooley; father and step mother, Lee and Janet Chambers, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Jewelle and Torrey Pinson, Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Lori Thomas, Gainesville; sister, Melissa Baldwin, Gainesville; mother-in-law, Linda Steinbrecher; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 5:00 P.M. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Hunter will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
