James Gregory Barker

Mr. James Gregory Barker, age 66, of Sautee-Nacoochee, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Mr. Barker was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He was a technician for Cobb County Water Authority during his career. Mr. Barker was a member of Center Baptist Church in Helen. He was preceded in death by father, James Louis Barker. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Pat Romeo, Cumming; grandchildren Nicko Romeo and Sierra Romeo, both of Cumming; mother, Jean Barker, Bloomington, Indiana; brother Gary Barker, Stevenville, Michigan; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Suzanne Marie Barker, Douglasville; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Rose Marie Barker, Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister, Linda Barker Legrow, Sodus, Michigan; and sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Stanley White, Douglasville. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Saturday, February 13, 2016 from Barrett Chapel. The Rev. Michael Wilkes will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
