James L. Casper Jr.

Mr. James L. Casper, Jr., age 67, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Mr. Casper was born in Bogart, Georgia to the late James Casper Sr. and Frankie Hammond. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Linda Casper; daughter, Melissa Casper, and son, Jamie Casper. He was a mechanic with Johnson Wire Contractors. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kelly Casper, Athens; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Duck Hammond, Dahlonega; son, Jerry Fair, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Hunter Casper, Kendra Casper, Kirsten Casper, and Mason Casper; great-grandson, Remington Owensby; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Kathy Casper, Cleveland; brother, Mike Casper, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Roger Smart, Bogart; and numerous other family members. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dawn McQueen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M.
