James (Jim) William Crane

James “Jim” William Crane, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018.   Mr. Crane was born on August 3, 1938, in Cleveland, Georgia, to the late James Lawton and Leona Elizabeth Saxon Crane. He was a pharmacist, having most recently worked for Fred’s Pharmacy. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Satterfield Crane and brother, Jerry Crane.   Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Randy King, Columbus; daughter, Laura Crane, Michigan; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Crane and Bruce Johnson, Athens; grandchildren, James King, Mattie Beth King, Geneva Hinkle, Leora Hinkle, and Bram Johnson.   Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M.
