James "Jimmy" Partin Jr.

James “Jimmy” Partin Jr., age 81 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 surrounded by his children and grandchildren.   Mr. Partin was born February 5, 1936 in Clarkesville, GA to the late James M. Partin Sr. and Pauline Dorsey Partin. Jimmy was a member of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church and was retired with 20 years of dedicated service in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, Jimmy worked as a farmer and also was a school bus driver for the White County School System. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Lois Seabolt Partin, brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Dorothy Partin, sister, Alda Jean Simmons.   The family would like to give a special thanks to the Staff at Gateway Health and Rehab Center and Pruitt Hospice for the loving care they showed their father, grandfather and great grandfather.   Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Lynn Alexander; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Debbie Partin; Eddie and Betty Partin; Mark and Shelia Partin; Larry and Melanie Partin; brother and sisters-in-law, Charles and Francis Partin; Earl Partin; Loy and Juanita Partin; Wiley and Carol Partin; Donald and Shelia Partin; sister, Deborah Kelley; sister and brother-in-law, Alva Nell and Paul Reeves; grandchildren, Heath and Ashley Partin; Heather and Daniel Hester; Kevin and Becki Partin; Katie and Spencer Anderson; Amanda and Brian O’Quinn; Miranda Partin; Damion and Mandy Partin; Josh and Rachel Partin; Athena and Matt Hill; great grandchildren, Gabe Partin, Eli Partin, Riley Hester, Jackson Hester, Sarah Grace Partin, Landen Partin, Hannah Anderson, Liam O’Quinn, Faith Ortiz, Destiny Allison, Lilly Partin, Easton Hill, Emerson Hill, Paxton Hill.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2017 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner and the Rev. Spencer Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt.
