James (Bubbie) Edward Marlowe Jr., age 23, of Gainesville passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Mr. Marlowe was born January 10, 1993 in Harlin County, Kentucky to James Edward Marlowe Sr. and Elaine Marlowe. James was employed with Fieldale. Survivors include his parents, James Edward Marlowe Sr. and Elaine Marlowe, Gainesville; son, James Aiden Marlowe, mother of his son, Raven Marlowe; brothers, Steven Campbell, James R. Marlowe; sisters, Rachel Marlowe, Joanna Marlowe, Ashley Marlowe; aunts and uncles, Hugh Marlowe, Ann Marlowe, Ernie Marlowe, Carl Marlowe, Jean Marlowe, Alvin Funderburk, Denise Williams, beloved friend, Taylor Lewis. Memorial services are scheduled for 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Sandy Reece and Mr. Bob Peppers will officiate.
