James Beaven Roche

James Beaven (Jim) Roche 1965 - 2021 Jim Roche, 55, of Sautee Nachooche, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Born July 29, 1965, to the late Beaven and Kathy Roche. Jim graduated from White County High School in 1983, attended North Georgia Technical College auto diesel certification program and was also a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He was an avid gardener, never met a stranger and kept us laughing with all his stories. Jim is survived by his wife, Teresa, children Jenna and Jacob, and grandchildren Autum and Gage. He is also survived by five sisters, one brother, three brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, and their families. Private services at a family cemetery on Sunday, April 25 will be held. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-9 PM at the home of John Roche, 1098 Hwy 255 N. Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571. His granddaughter Autum found the following poem about her Papa: Our Grandfather kept a garden, A garden of the heart; He planted all the good things, That gave our lives their start. He turned us to the sunshine, And encouraged us to dream: Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem. And then the winds and rain came, He protected us enough; But not too much because he knew We would stand up strong and tough. His constant good example, Always taught us right from wrong; Markers for our pathway that will last A lifetime long. We are our Grandfather’s garden, We are his legacy.
