James Robert "Jim" Wright

James Robert Wright (Jim), age 79 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019. Jim was born on May 26, 1939, in Fulton County, to the late James Clark Wright and Lucile Buxton Wright. He worked for 30 years as a commercial building contractor in the Atlanta area. He and his wife were active in the antique automobile community, and Jim restored antique automobiles for 25 years. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Endsley. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nancy Peck Wright, Cleveland, GA; niece, Kathy Ellis and her husband David Ellis, Kennesaw, GA; great-niece Christy Beddingfield and her husband Jim Beddingfield, Sandy Springs, GA; several cousins; many treasured friends and neighbors; and his church family at The Bridge Church in Cleveland, GA, where he served as an elder. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at The Bridge Church in Cleveland, Georgia. The Rev. Patrick Ballington and the Rev. Jim Nossett will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
