Janie Mae Ellis

Janie Mae Ellis, age 60 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Ellis was born in Lumpkin County the daughter of the late James Arthur and Flora Mae Pitchford Christy. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Christy. Ms Ellis was retired from Creekside Deli and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Cindy and Dan Williams, Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Shawn and Ashley Ellis, Cleveland; grandchildren, Levi and Melissa Williams, Chelesa and Ryan Williams, all of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Cherish and Skylynn Williams, Cleveland; sister, Evelyn Davis, Chickamauga; brothers and sisters in law, Ernest and Charlene Christy, Cleveland, Frank and Diane Christy, Dahlonega; sister in law, Susan Christy, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday April 11, 2010 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Dr, Joe Vernon, the Rev. Paul Flynn and the Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.
