Jay Huycke

Jay Allen Huycke age 78 passed away December 21, 2025, after long term health complications. 

Jay was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, raised in Chamblee GA and resided in Norcross GA at the time of his passing. He was a graduate of Cross Keys High School in DeKalb County. Jay proudly served in the US Army 1968-1971, including tours of duty in Germany and Vietnam. He was a mechanic and gifted repair technician by trade. He was preceded in death by parents Robert Allen and Avolyn Wright Huycke and sister Wanda Huycke Moore. 

He is survived by brothers William R. Huycke, US Army, Ret. (spouse, Sherry) of Hampton, VA, and Rev. Richard M. Huycke (spouse, Jennifer) of Athens, GA. and a nephew and niece.

He will be inurned as he wished in the GA National VA cemetery.in Canton GA, date TBD.

Services will be private, officiated by his brother, Rev Richard Huycke and with full military honors.
