J.B. Allison

Mr. J.B. Allison, age 57 of Dahlonega passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. Born in Hall County, Georgia on January 06, 1951, Mr. Allison was a Concrete Mason for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Price Allison and a brother, Lewis Allison. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Glaze Allison, Dahlonega; daughters, Bobbie Jo Hunt, Betty Jo Keown, both of Cleveland; son, Brian Allison, Cleveland; step-son, Jimmy Rogers; mother, Grace Gennell Allison, Dahlonega; brothers, Henry Allison, Joe Allison, David Allison, all of Dahlonega; Lamar Allison, Gainesville; Richard Allison, Lula; step-son, Jimmy Rogers, Cleveland; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Anthony Shore and the Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate. Burial will follow in the White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. on Monday.
