Jean Good

Jean Good, age 86 of Sautee, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019.   Mrs. Good was born on June 3, 1933, in Williamsport, PA, to the late Frederick and Violet Polcyn Thomke. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Jean was a long time member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Jean was active in the church volunteering for the meals on wheels program, the church thrift store, The Attic, served as a Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion and helped with other ministries to assist those in need. She was a member of the Women Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Boca Raton, Fl and in Sautee. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Robert Good; son, David W. Good; brothers, Gerald Thomke, William Thomke, and Robert Thomke.   Survivors include her daughter, Karen Marie Good, Sautee; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Basham (Jim), Atlanta, and Pam Good-Miner (Richard), Sugar Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Steven Good (Jennifer), Baconton, GA; grandchildren, Stephanie Turner, Cherise Thomas, Allison Basham, James Basham, Jr., David Mitchell Good, and MarLeigh Hayes Good; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Gotshall and Gloria Thomke; numerous nieces and nephews.   A memorial mass is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, Dec. 6th, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Father Thad Rudd will officiate.
