Jerry Chapman Keown

Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Jerry Chapman Keown, age 59 of Cleveland. Jerry passed away Friday, July 5, 2019. Jerry was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 11, 1960 to Doris Pruitt Gullixson and the late William Hershel Keown. He was a heavy equipment operator and was employed with Charles Pruitt Enterprise until his sickness forced him to retire. In addition to his father, Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Marie Moss Keown. Survivors include son, Joel Keown, Cleveland; mother, Doris Gullixson, Cleveland; sister, Ellen Pickleseimer, Dawsonville; brothers Russell and Gary Keown of Dawsonville, Wesley Keown of Hampton and Shane Keown of Cleveland. In addition, Jerry is also survived by his six grandchildren. It was Jerry’s wishes that he cremated, the family will be holding a private service at a later date.
