Jerry Ray Roberts

Jerry Ray Roberts, age 66 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Roberts was born June 17, 1946 in Helen, GA to the late Happy and Eula Henderson Roberts. He worked at Eula's Nursery for many years and was a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his brother Charles Daniels Roberts. Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Black, Cleveland; Vivian Jarrard, Cleveland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold Jr. and Martha Roberts, Cleveland; Johnny and Karen Roberts, Clarkesville; brother, Xavier Roberts, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Milton Harris and the Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
