Jerry Lee Williams

June 15, 1945 — May 6, 2015

Jerry Lee Williams, age 69 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday May 6, 2015. Mr. Williams was born in White County the son of the late Willie Williams and Cleo Allen Williams Adams. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Sue Williams and brother, G.W. Williams. Mr. Williams worked for National Cash Register Co. before starting his own company, Southern Cash Register Co. and was the original owner of the Fox Hole Military Surplus Store. Mr. Williams enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing he shared many special occasions with friends and family doing just that. He was kind hearted, wise and a friend to all. Survivors include his wife, Edith Telford Williams, Cleveland; son, Kevin Williams and Michelle Forbus, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Crystal Telford, Fort Campbell KY., daughter, Kelley Telford, Watkinsville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Tommy Turner, Betty and L.G. Pettit, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Austin Williams, Jessica Williams, Brooks Telford, Kaitlyn Matthewson, all of Cleveland; many caring nieces and nephews; special friend, Dale Matthewson, Cleveland; special people in Jerry’s life whom he had a great influence on, Warren Williams and Wade Williams.
