Jesse Harrison Tow, Jr.

Jesse Harrison Tow, Jr., age 93, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Mr. Tow was born on February 18, 1933, in White County, to the late Jesse and Minnie McCarter Tow. Junior was the White County Tax Commissioner for 28 years and was a member of County Line Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Sharon Tow, Clark Tow, and Michael Tow; siblings, Russell Tow, Hazel Winkler, Betty Watts, Edna Mae Jarrard, and Barbara Dyer.

Survivors include his wife of 74 years, Virginia Tow; daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Greg Satterfield and Myra and Stuart Fincher; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Tow; grandchildren, Cindy and Steve Johnson, Ginny and Mitch Simpson, Krista and Phillip Taylor, Jonathan Tow, Katie and Tim Stover, Jordan and Cassie Fincher, Justin and Cate Satterfield, Luke and Tanner Fincher, Stephanie Satterfield and Cody Norton; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends at County Line Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at County Line Baptist Church. The Rev. Matt Stowers, the Rev. Bryan Satterfield, and the Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
