Jessie Felton

Jessie M. Felton, age 84 of Cleveland, GA, passed away Saturday, November 03, 2012 at Gateway Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Felton was born April 20, 1928 in Junior, W.V. to the late Christian Wilbur and Nancy May Phillips Spencer. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church in Simpson, W.V. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Felton and 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Eugene Jones; Cleveland,GA; daughters, Sharon Felton, Cleveland, GA; Nancy Gail Creekmore, Kettering, OH; 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, November 4, 2012 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland, GA. The Rev. Terry Crawford will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Sunday prior to the service. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Union Baptist Church in Simpson, WV. Interment will follow in Flemington I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Flemington, W.V. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Tuesday at Union Baptist Church prior to the service.
