Jimmy Helton

Jimmy Helton, age 65 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. Mr. Helton was born April 25, 1955 in White County to the late Roy Helton and Thelma Tomlin Helton. Jimmy was a former sawmiller for Hogan Lumber Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tasha Helton, sister Lillette McCelland and brother, Kenneth Helton. Survivors include his wife, Fredia Helton; son, Jonathan Helton; daughter, Jessica Helton; brothers, Danny Helton, Phillip Helton, Junior Helton, Jerry Helton, Melvin Helton, all of Cleveland; sisters, Linda McKay, Clayton; Deborah Worley, Cleveland; grandchildren, Jason Saine, Cheyenne Saine, Liam Saine, Heather Armour, Stephanie Sutton and Joshua Sutton. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2020 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Eugene Turner and the Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
