Jimmy Ray Tumlin

Jimmy Ray Tumlin, age 56, of Gainesville, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. Mr. Tumlin was born on June 23, 1967, in Marietta, Georgia, to the late Joseph Tumlin and Sandra Marie Crumley Tumlin. He was an engineer and was employed by Shumate Mechanical. Survivors include wife, Kim Tumlin, Gainesville; sons, Josh Tumlin (Amanda), Lula, Levi Tumlin, Murrayville, and Chris Berendson, Lula; daughter, Alicia Leverette (Teddy), Cleveland; grandchildren, Madison Tumlin, Connor Tumlin, Skylar Berendson, Tucker Berendson, Lakyn Leverette, Rowyn Leverette, Eden Tumlin; brother, Billy Tumlin, Gainesville and sister Robin Martin (Eddie) of Dahlonega. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Peck will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
