Jimmy Underwood

Jimmy Underwood age 68, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday April 26, 2017.   Mr. Underwood was born in Cleveland, Georgia the son of the late Hoyt Underwood and Fannie Pearl Sutton Nix. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Twiggs, grandparents, Annie West and Emory Sutton, special uncle, Jack Sutton, nieces, Elaine Nix and Malena Twiggs. Mr. Underwood was a retired Mechanic and loved hunting and fishing.   Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Lynn Nix, Oakwood, David and Becky Nix, Gainesville, Michael and Debra Nix, Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Darrow Carruth; Gainesville; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Leon Carter, Cleveland, special aunt, Janice Sutton, Cleveland.   Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday April 28, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Brandon Hester will officiate.
