Joan Quant Allberry

Joan Quant Allberry, age 71, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Mrs. Allberry was born on July 18, 1954, in Utica, New York, to the late Harold and Dorothy Quant. She was known for her spunky attitude and great sense of humor. Joan will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She went above and beyond in her role as a mother, devoting her life to her children and grandchildren. She took immense pride in becoming a great-grandmother, and her great-grandchild is a lovely reminder of her spirit and personality. More than anything, she wished to be loved in the same way she so freely loved others. Even in her darkest days, her sense of humor never faded. She was a constant light to her family and their biggest cheerleader in all they chose to pursue. Her marriage was the kind many dream of, and it was a source of great pride and joy in her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Allberry; and son, William Thomas Kubler.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Kubler Sorrows; grandchildren, Bradley and Emilee Sullens, Nicholas Sullens, William and Hannah Sorrows, Patrick Sorrows; great-granddaughter, Essie Jewel Sullens; sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Tom Knights.
