Joan Elsey

Joan Marie Elsey, age 69, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Born on December 14, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, Joan was the daughter of the late James and Jeanette Tindale Elsey. Throughout her life, she held a variety of jobs, but her greatest and most meaningful role was caring for her beloved mother and brother during their times of need. Her selfless devotion, compassionate spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her brother, George Albert Elsey.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Fuller; her nieces and nephews, Jason and Kim Fuller, Chad and Tabitha Fuller, Michelle and Jonathan Mobley, James and Shelly Patterson, Christopher and Michelle Elsey, Elizabeth Elsey, and Katie Longoria; and her cherished numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Joan's kindness, dedication to her family, and caring heart leave a lasting legacy that will continue to live on in the lives of those she loved.”
