Joan Sullens Hamby

Joan Sullens Hamby, age 82, of Cleveland passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Joan was born on December 3, 1943, in Virgina Beach, Virginia, to the late Walter and Cora Lee Turner Norrell. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Faith. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husbands Kenneth Sullens and J.D. Hamby; siblings, Jane Gravitt, JoAnn Norrell, and Bonnie Smith.

Survivors include daughter Ann Taylor (Allen); son Wayne Sullens (Becky), Shane Sullens; grandchildren Heather Smith, Kenny Sullens, Dr. Robin Medina, Bradley Sullens, Nicholas Sullens; and ten great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 16, 2026, at Gateway Memory Park. The Rev. Eddie Tanner will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. Monday until the service hour at the funeral home.
