Joe Griffin Mayfield, age 70, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Mr. Mayfield was born on January 13, 1954, in Chatham County, to the late Euclid and Betty Hendon Mayfield. He worked in banking and finance and was employed by Regions Bank. Joey was born in Savannah and later lived and worked in Charleston before moving to Gainesville in the mid-1980s. Survivors include his daughters, Callie Davison (Jordan), Demorest, and Margaret Ann Mayfield, Cleveland; grandson, Lucas Davison. No local services are planned.
