Joe Shoffeitt

Mr. Joe Shoffeitt, age 70 of Cleveland, passed away on June 23, 2018. He was born on January 24, 1948 to John Henry Shoffeitt and Imogene Voyles. He retired from Mayfield Milk with 48 years’ experience and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Shoffeitt is preceded in death by his Daughter Christy Shoffeitt and his Sister Betty Jean Shoffeitt. Survivors include his parents, John Henry (Glenda) Shoffeitt and Imogene Voyles, his loving wife Loyce Shoffeitt of Dahlonega, his Son Joseph Shoffeitt of Dahlonega, Brothers James (Anna) Shoffeitt of Dahlonega, Johnny Shoffeitt of Dahlonega, and Eugene Cagle of Gainesville, his Sisters Geneva (Larry) Jones of Flowery Branch, Joyce (Bobby) Southers of Gainesville, and Cheryl Knapp of Braselton. Survivors also include his Step-Daughters Sherry (Brent) Buffington of Cleveland, Shelly (Felicia) Seabolt of Clarkesville, Granddaughters, Bree and Brooke Buffington of Cleveland, Grandsons, Seth Smith, Conor Jordan, and Thomas Jordan of Clarkesville, and his special Aunt Mary Shoffeitt as well as many other friends and relatives.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. Barrett Funeral Home of Cleveland is in charge of arrangements.
