Joe T. Turpin

Joe Turpin, age 80 of Cleveland, passed away August 14, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Turpin was born May 8, 1931 in Banks County the late Emory and Mattie Hightower Turipin. He was self employed. Mr. Turpin was preceded in death by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include his daughter, Nena Thomas Berry; son, Joel Emery Turpin; both of Dahlonega; son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Shannon Bryan, Braselton; grandsons, Zachary Woody, Dylan Woody, both of Dahlonega. Memorial services are scheduled for 5:00 Thursday, August 18, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Bagwell will officiate.
