Joel Holloway

Mr. Joel Holloway, age 88, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020. Mr. Holloway was born in Lincoln County, Georgia and shared his life with his wife Shirley, the love of his life for 60 wonderful years, after spending three years in the U.S. Army, where he served in Panama proudly for his country . Joel worked and retired from the Port of Savannah, from the International Longshoreman Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lillian Holloway, of Lincoln County; his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Holloway; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Pam Holloway; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Mr. Holloway was a member of Faith Community Church. Survivors include son, James Holloway and best friend, Billy; 3 granddaughters, Amber, Cristin, Breeanne; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, LG, Joanne, and Jeanette; all of Lincoln County.
