John Marc Blackstock

Mr. John Marc Blackstock, age 45 of Cleveland died Friday, September 15, 2007 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Blackstock was born on September 15, 1962 in Upson County to Dan and Mavis Caldwell Blackstock. He worked in the home improvement business as a carpet cleaner. He was a four time State Swimming Champion, a District Diving Champion and was a football player and coach. Mr. Blackstock has lived in White County since 1995. Survivors in addition to his parents are: daughter and son-in-law: Erica and Caleb Sthindler, Dayton, OH; daughters: Erin Blackstock, Dayton, OH; Jade Blackstock, Cleveland; son: Tyler Blackstock, Chipley, FL; grandson: Aiden Sthindler, Dayton, OH; sister and brother-in-law: Heather & David Pumphrey, Winder; Fiancé: Melinda Vandiver, Cleveland, former wife: Joann Blackstock, Chipley, FL. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 17, 2007 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Jett officiating.
