John David Bishop Sr.

John David Bishop Sr., age 79 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020. David joined in heaven his mother and father, Roy D. Bishop and Helen J. Bishop and his wife, Rita Bishop. He worked as a superintendent for McKinney Drilling Company. Survivors include his children and spouses, Jaclyn and Chad Adams, Alto; John “Johnny” D. Bishop Jr. and Billie Bishop, Cleveland; grandchildren, Trevor Bishop, Taylor Bishop, Kylee Adams, Kahle Adams; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Sabrina Bishop; sisters, Sandra Gayle Smith, Claudia J. Brown. Private family services will be held. As David would often say, “If you can’t eat it, don’t plant it.” In lieu of flowers please plant a vegetable in his memory or donate a vegetable to be planted by his children.
