John Henry Ferguson

Mr. John Henry Ferguson, age 70, of Demorest, passed away Thursday, September 08, 2011 at Grady Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ferguson was born on February 5, 1941 to the late Andrew Jackson and Rhodia Barrett Ferguson. He is preceded in death by his brother Wade Ferguson, brother and sister in law Bud and Margie Ferguson, sister, Lorene Roberts. Mr. Ferguson served in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a member of Amy’s Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Ferguson, Demorest; daughter and son in law, Shelia and Tim Pritchett, Cornelia; sons and daughters in law, Michael and Deborah Ferguson, Demorest; Ricky and Tina Ferguson, Clarkesville; sons, John Timothy Ferguson, Maryland; Christopher Andrew Ferguson, Demorest; David Mahone Ferguson, Demorest; grandchildren, Brian and Ryleigh Pritchett, Chance Pritchett, Michelle Ferguson, Brittany Ferguson, Brianna Ferguson; brother and sister in law, Jay and Beulah Mae Ferguson, Helen; Felton and Betty Ferguson, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Jr Cantrell, Helen; sister-in-law, Nora Lea Ferguson, Hiawassee. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 10, 2011 from Amy’s Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Chris Shurtz, the Rev. Steve Merck and the Rev. Hal Stinespring will officiate.
