John Sidney Hulsey

Mr. John Sidney Hulsey age 89 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday November 26, 2008 following injuries sustained in an auto accident. Mr. Hulsey was born in Hall County and lived in Arizona before moving to Cleveland. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Margaret (Maggie) Smith Hulsey, sisters, Wanda Baughman, Nola Swafford , Eula Hulsey, brothers, Ned Hulsey and Gay Smith. Mr. Hulsey was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Pacific Theatre in World War 11. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Scottsdale Arizona Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mattie (Becky) Beasley Hulsey, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Linda and Henry Bowden, Pinehurst; grandson, William Ross (Carolyn) Bowden; great granddaughter, Chloe Bowden and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday November 29, 2008 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Royce Winters will officiate. Interment will be in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
