John Perry Roberts

Mr. John Perry Roberts, age 69, of Demorest, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Mr. Roberts was born in 1949 to the late Harold “Happy” and Eula Henderson Roberts. He served in the U.S Army and was a member of VFW Post #7720 of Cornelia. In addition to his parents, Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his brothers Charles Daniel Roberts, Jerry Roberts, and Harold Roberts. He is survived by his wife Karen Loggins Roberts of Demorest, his daughter and son-in-law Kim and Jason Myers of Demorest, and his son and daughter-in-law Charles Anthony and Michelle Roberts also of Demorest. He is also survived by his sisters; Vivian Jarrard of Cleveland and Barbara Black of Cleveland, his brother Xavier Roberts of Gainesville, and his grandchildren Mason Dakota Roberts, Trey Phoenix Roberts, and Tatum Lee Myers. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at in The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Shane Jenkins, Kim Roberts, and Rev. Dave Fortner. Interment will follow at Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4-7 PM.
