Johnnie Elnora Greene

Johnnie Elnora Greene, age 94 of Cleveland, GA passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024. Mrs. Greene was born in Atoka, TN to the late Wallace and Cecelia Redmond Forbes. Johnnie was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, carpentry and aviation. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Greene and brother, Thomas Forbes. Survivors include her son, John Greene; daughter and son-in-law; Jackie and Richard Brewton; daughter, Lisa Short; grandchildren, Christine Garcia, Jon Brewton, Jamie Brewton, Johnnie Skelton, Brandy Clay; great grandchildren, Bear Garcia, Isabella, Sophia, Olivia, Anna Brewton, Rosie and Frankie Clay. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday, October 28, 2024, at Barrett Funeral Home 118 N. Brook St. Cleveland, GA 30528. Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073.
