Johnny Morgan

Johnny Morgan, age 58, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. Mr. Morgan was born July 13, 1958 in Griffin, GA to the late Ira Russell Morgan and Carrie Lucille Williams Morgan. Johnny was a farmer and a member of Christian Baptist Church. He was preceded death in by his brothers, Jack Morgan Sr., James Morgan, Alton Morgan and Jimmy Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Morgan, Cleveland; son, Johnny Morgan Jr., Cleveland; daughters, Shelby Morgan, Mandy Morgan, both of Mountain City, GA; step-children, Pam Sullens, David Rider, both of Cleveland; Lavonda Morrison, Timmy Rider both of Gainesville; brother, Billy Morgan, Cleveland; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2016 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dorsey Holmes and the Rev. Scott Fendley will officiate. Interment will follow at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
